TABLETOP BIBLE THEATER FOR KIDS
Do you worry if your children will grow up having a healthy relationship with God?
It’s true we can’t save our children - only God can, but we can pray and we can tell them the good news!
Give your children a taste of God’s goodness by telling them the great stories of the Bible - how God loves the world and each one of us. So much that he shows us the way to walk, and still loves us when we stray, and guides us back on the path.
I designed these tabletop theater Bible toys to help your children know, love, and trust God and His word. All fabric backdrops and fabric characters are available by the yard on my SPOONFLOWER SHOP and are arranged by groups. The backdrops are simple to make. Just cut and sew a pocket at top, and slip them easily on to the handmade wood theater frame, which makes them interchangeable. If you’d prefer digital files to print on your own - no sewing invloved - the entire set comes as a printable collection on a FLASH DRIVE, including backdrops.
It’s a great way to have some quick fun and is easy to set up. Your child can get creative by drawing extra props. Great for home, co-ops, and Sunday School programs. Comes with descriptions for each character and prop as well as a 12 page character key so you will know who is who!
Click on the backdrops below to visit my SPOONFLOWER SHOP, called Pocket_Dreams, where you can order designs by the yard. These four “big yards” (make sure to order linen cotton canvas 54” wide or you won’t receive all the design bits) comprise all 33 backdrops plus the rugs and bedding I designed for the Bible collection. Happy sewing!
INSTRUCTIONS: Cut out with 1/4” white border. Serge to color edge. Fold over top flap 1.25” and sew to create a pocket. That’s all there is to it!
Click on one of the sets below to visit designs on my SPOONFLOWER SHOP called PocketDreamsCo by Rachel Schmiedel. I suggest ordering petal signature cotton or cotton poplin (my favorite). Make sure you don’t accidentally order a fat quarter, or you will be missing some of the characters! I’d love for you to drop me a note and let me know how your children are liking them.
INSTRUCTIONS: Place 1 yard of backing fabric behind 1 yard of characters and props. Cut out. With right sides together, sew around character, leaving a 2” opening. Turn right sides out. Iron. Stuff with poly fil. Sew opening shut.
