STORY THEATER PRINTABLES

One of my favorite stories that I read to all six of my children was Little Pilgrim’s Progress, based off John Bunyan’s classic story - Pilgrim’s Progress. As you read along, let your children cut out these printables (available on my Etsy shop) and use the fabric backdrop set or encourage them to create scenery and props of their own to add to the story.

HAVE YOUR CHILDREN MET THESE WONDERFUL WOMEN YET?

These sets of printables can be used to introduce your children to women who have helped others overcome great obstacles. Pair with a fabric backdrop or encourage your children to make scenery and props of their own to go with the story (not included). There are likely many wonderful children’s books about these women in your local library to read as your children listen and learn.

BIBLE THEATER PRINTABLES

What is a tabletop Toy Theater? How do you use these Bible Printables? Where can I find the fabric backdrops and fabric characters? These questions are answered on my video below…

Help your child learn about great men and women who’ve done amazing things during their life with these Story Printables. Each is sold individually and there are limited fabric backdrops available. If they are sold out, head to my Spoonflower Shop here, or encourage your child to create scenery and props of their own to add to the story. Print them out on card stock, photo paper, or for best results, on glossy cardstock. Use books from your local library to learn about different people who have served the Lord and changed the world. After you read the story, let the child retell the story using their own words. Bring out all the fun art supplies - markers, colored pencils, crayons, scissors, tape, glue, stickers, and jewels, and encourage your child to make props to go with the story. What will they make? Teach your child how to be an Investigator. Ask the questions Who? What? Where? When? and How?

Who are the main characters? Who is talking? Who wrote it? What is the story all about? What action takes place? Where does the story take place? Where do the people live? When does the story take place? How does the story begin and end? What is the main point? What can we learn about “Who God Is” because of the story? All these details help the child learn and remember what the story is all about, plus it’s so much fun to be creative!

You can find these printables on my Etsy shop.
